I don't know how to take it easy. How can I put this more clearly? I've got one speed and it's called "go". Maybe I'm falling apart, but I've got lots to show...for it. I always show up when i should phone it. Don't know how to relax just for a moment. I've got one state, and it's called "humming" Someday they'll find me dead and I'll be late for something. The reality is catching up again. How far can I reach if I overextend? The reality is catching up again no matter how hard that I pretend.

When in the course of human events we arrive at a certain circumstance that revolves and evolves until we solve it all or else it kicks us in the pants Then we must be cunning and we must be deft so this theft won't leave us all bereft. When a choice is foisted on us we must rejoice in it lest the boisterous voices are all who's left. When we find ourselves at a point in the path between the prologue and the aftermath where we must be sane so the stain on our brains won't remain and will become the past. We must be precise and we must be exact else the reactionaries will sure react. When they're gaming the frame and blame the same names in a lame parlour game we must see through that. When we find ourselves hand in hand in a land where the standard's sinking in quicksand and a system's in place to erase fateful dates like the true emancipation of a race of man. When you find you can't trust institutions whose busts are unjust it's a must to feel disgust. When you face an arraignment cause you made a sane statement on main street it's cause they don't work for us. Four score and more since the Fords of these shores invented credit scores and made them your lord. When you're living in squalor and holler to the almighty dollar evermore you will be ignored. When looking around no sound law can be found in your nation, state, or in your town, when people aren't equal with free will then we will do a reboot not a sequel and burn it down. Replace the system.

We're living through a dystopian nightmare that will only get worse. We're living through planetary destruction that will never be reversed. But you and me, we will always be together. We choose to always be together. So we will always be the together, eternally. We're living through societal strife that should have everyone concerned. We're living through a blazing inferno and we're definitely getting burned. And when someday our atoms scatter to the winds we'll swirl around as one in the cosmos again. We'll dance around the stars like the radioactive particles we are. Where do you end and I begin?

There is a light that shines in you with every motion and follow-though and it is all that I can do not to stare. You're January and I'm June. You are the sun and I'm the moon. I document the Earth's decline. You find the rhyme in the divine. And even though things won't be fine, you always care. You're January and I'm June. You are the hope and I'm the doom. You are a person who celebrates our life eternally. I am a person who wonders when we'll have to pack our bags and flee. You are a person who looks at me with caring and belief. I am so lucky. You find new ways to self-improve. I'm sometimes content to barely move. But you'll make me make it through this year with flair. You're January and I'm June. You are the swan and I'm the loon.

Well it’s June in Oregon. I wouldn’t be surprised if we get snow, but I’ll try to look surprised. The way things are going, what’s gonna happen next nobody knows. Keep the horizon in your eyes. Justice might demand chants from the folks of this town. Maybe their mayor sends his goons to beat them down. When folks look different, they don’t want them around. Just ask the ghosts of Vanport town. Well it’s June in Oregon. What’s gonna happen next nobody knows. It’s July in Oregon. I wouldn’t be surprised if troops move in and we get occupied. The way things are going, these untested freedoms are gonna be denied and you might take one in the eye. Maybe secret police will launch a campaign of fear, roll up in a van, and have you disappeared. And militia groups will feel emboldened to move like some sort of American Khymer Rouge. It’s July in Oregon. What’s gonna happen next nobody knows. It’s August in Oregon. I wouldn’t be surprised if things catch fire from that gas ball in the sky. The way things are going, the heat index is getting rather dire. What’s gonna happen this time? We’re not ready for smoke and we’re not ready for fire ‘cause everyone in charge in a climate denier. The northwest rain’s not here to give it a dowse. Our leaders wouldn’t know science if it burned down their house. It’s August in Oregon. What’s gonna happen next nobody knows. September in Oregon. I wouldn’t be surprised. I shouldn’t be surprised. I couldn’t be surprised. The way things are going, I wouldn’t be surprised. I shouldn’t be surprised. I couldn’t be surprised. Maybe folks in the streets will take their hope and their voice into the voting booth to make the saner choice. Maybe all of us here will have an equal say and gentler ideals will finally win the day. October in Oregon. What’s gonna happen next nobody knows.
